Emma and Will's wedding was a small and intimate celebration of love on Will's family's goat farm, Goat Rodeo Farm and Dairy, in August of last year. Will and Emma continued the tradition of getting married on property, as Will was the 3rd sibling to be married on the family farm. It was especially meaningful as Emma and Will also live on the farm property and essentially created their dream, laid-back, yet detailed backyard wedding! (Oh...and did I mentioned SHE planned this wedding in just 6 short weeks, a new record for us!)
With a few weeks to plan, we knew the invitations had to be sent out asap. Enter Minted, where we created a simple yet farm chic invitation with gorgeous handmade paper envelopes, embodying the couple's relaxed approach to their special day.

The wedding and wedding party was truly a family affair, celebrating love and togetherness in a picturesque setting. Held on the family farm, the event exuded warmth and familiarity, with every detail reflecting the bonds that tied the couple to their loved ones. The bridal party was made up entirely of siblings and brothers and sisters-in-law, creating an intimate atmosphere that was both joyful and heartfelt.
The gorgeous jewel-toned bridesmaid dresses were a stunning choice, beautifully contrasting with the lush greenery of the farm. Shades of gold, mauve, and pale pink added a vibrant touch to the natural backdrop, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the celebration. The bridesmaids, radiant in their dresses, complemented the bride perfectly, who wore a classic gown that highlighted her beauty.
The family farm provided a breathtaking venue, with sprawling fields and sounds of goats that created a romantic atmosphere. Guests were surrounded by nature, making the event feel even more special and connected to the couple's roots.

The ceremony was set against the pond and the barn where most of the goats live, providing a familiar and beautiful backdrop. The classical sounds from a violinist welcomed the bridal party across the grass leading to the hand-made (by the groom!) tree trunk chuppah adorned with farm fresh flowers from The Farmer's Daughter Florist. This exquisite floral arrangement created a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony, combining natural beauty with artistic design.
As the ceremony unfolded, heartfelt vows were exchanged, echoing the love and commitment shared by the couple. The presence of family members, all closely tied to the couple, added a layer of emotional depth to the proceedings.
Once the ceremony ended, Emma + Will made their grand getaway on a flower and ribbon adorned orange tractor. They took the tractor through the farm and created one of the most epic entrances into cocktail hour on the tractor.

Cocktail hour took place back at the main house on the patio that overlooks another goat barn and the in-ground pool.
The patio was already perfectly equipped to host cocktail hour as string lights hang in the air and another tree-trunk built chuppah-esque structure sits on the patio, making it the perfect location for a wooden bar to sit under.
The stunning linens from Mosaic Inc perfectly complemented the area, making the tables look like they belonged on the patio 24-7, while the delicious food from Sausalido kept guests sustained until it was time for the sit-down dinner.

When planning an intimate event, every detail counts. In order to create a memorable wedding for all we played off the details of the land. We used a clear top tent so that at night, guests could see the stars when they looked up and the candlelight from the taper candles gave a gorgeous glow.
Under the tent, rustic farm tables were placed in two long rows so that guests could sit family-style and enjoy conversation with each other. Spread throughout the tables, were gorgeous summer flowers, such as sunflowers, daisies, and peonies, adding vibrant color and natural beauty to the tables.
Wooden braided chargers were at each place setting, serving as a rustic base for dinner, with a handmade paper menu placed on top. When thinking of how we could incorporate the goats into the design of the wedding, we came up with the idea of little goat figurines at each place setting, wearing a tag that stated each guests name, indicating where they should sit for dinner. It was a super fun way to play with the design and make it meaningful for Emma and Will. Bonus for guests who got to take home this personalized keepsake!
By thoughtfully selecting these design elements, we created a cohesive and enchanting atmosphere that resonated with the charm of rustic farm elegance.

The reception was a lively affair, with music and dancing that brought everyone together. The family bond was palpable as relatives and friends joined in celebration, creating lasting memories that would be cherished for years to come. From heartfelt speeches to shared dances, the evening was a true reflection of love, laughter, and the importance of family.
In the end, this wedding was not just a celebration of love between two people, but a beautiful reminder of the strength and joy that family brings. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments, forever etched in the hearts of all who attended.
